Project Coordinator

Position Summary

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of various projects, ensuring they are completed as per the initial requirements and expectations of the respective stakeholders. Additionally, creates, manages, and follows up on test cases and test plans. Works closely with different teams to ensure all projects and testing documentations are up-to-date and followed through to completion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Project Coordination

• Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders

• Develops detailed project plans to monitor and track progress

• Coordinates with internal resources and third parties/vendors for projects execution

• Ensures that all projects are delivered as per the initial requirements and expectations of the respective stakeholders

• Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

• Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques

• Reports and escalates to management as needed

• Assesses project risks and identifies ways to mitigates these risks

• Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation

Testing & QA

• Develops and executes detailed test cases and test plans for various projects

• Works with the development team to ensure all issues are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner

• Documents and evaluates test results and defects, tracks and manages defects, and works with the team to troubleshoot issues

• Participates in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems

• Ensures compliance with industry standards and methodologies

• Coordinates with other teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Information, Business Administration, any IT related field

• Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus

Technical Skills:

• Proven experience in project management

• Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies

• Familiarity with project management and defect tracking tools

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is desirable

Relevant Experience:

• 2 – 3 years of experience in project management and quality assurance
