Job Description & Summary
This role involves overseeing group consolidation and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with local statutory financial statement requirements and managing external audit engagements.
The external reporting accountant will be responsible for country-by-country reporting, including the preparation and review of IFRS 16 calculations, advising on accounting entries, reconciling balances, and providing guidance on budgets, forecasts, and 3-year plans.
Additionally, the role entails MELT reporting on Gross Revenue and Disbursements, conducting quarterly material balance reviews, submitting economic substance rules, and leading automation projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Group consolidation and external audit
Local statutory financial statements and external audits
Country-by-country reporting
Preparation and review of IFRS 16 calculations, advising on accounting entries, reconciliation of balances and advising on budgets/forecasts and 3 year plans
MELT reporting on Gross Revenue and Disbursements
Quarterly material balance review (NIC)
Economic substance rules submissions
Automation projects
