Objective:
The Designing Skills Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training programs focused on a wide range of design disciplines, including graphic design, 3D modeling, digital illustration, UI/UX design, and related areas. The trainer will ensure that participants acquire practical skills and theoretical knowledge, preparing them to excel in various design fields and fostering creativity, innovation, and technical expertise.
Responsibilities:
Course Development and Preparation:
- Design comprehensive course outlines, lesson plans, and curriculum materials based on industry standards and best practices.
- Develop engaging, practical, and hands-on activities, workshops, and exercises that cater to various skill levels and learning styles.
- Regularly update training content to reflect changes in design trends, tools, and software.
Training Delivery:
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as graphic design fundamentals, 3D modeling, UI/UX principles, typography, color theory, and software skills (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Blender).
- Provide one-on-one feedback, mentorship, and guidance to students during and after sessions to ensure individual growth.
- Demonstrate and apply design principles and software techniques effectively in a classroom setting.
Assessment and Evaluation:
- Develop assessments, quizzes, and project-based evaluations to measure participant progress and skill acquisition.
- Provide constructive feedback to participants and identify areas for improvement, ensuring each participant meets course objectives.
- Conduct follow-up assessments post-training to gauge long-term retention and application of skills.
Continuous Improvement:
- Solicit feedback from participants and stakeholders to improve course content, delivery methods, and materials.
- Stay informed on the latest design software, tools, and trends, continuously enhancing personal and professional skills.
- Participate in internal team meetings, workshops, and training to align with organizational goals and maintain a high standard of instruction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, or a related field; advanced certifications or a master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in design, with an emphasis on [relevant design areas].
