We are hiring an SAP S4HANA Accounting and Finance champion to lead the finance module implementation along with the SAP Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact between Accounting Department and the SAP implementation team.
- Ensure clear communication of business requirements to the SAP implementation partner.
- Collaborate with the Business Process Owners (BPO) to gather, document, and validate business requirements specific to your department.
- Ensure all requirements are accurately reflected in the SAP S4HANA system.
- Validate and approve department-specific configurations and customizations in the SAP system.
- Ensure configurations align with business requirements and processes.
- Document any issues, changes, or updates to processes and configurations.
- Provide regular updates to the implementation team and department leadership.
- Regularly consult with the department's SME for technical insights and advanced configurations.
- Engage in joint sessions with SMEs for detailed process mapping, validation, and problem-solving.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Data Migration:
1- Perform necessary actions when needed to guarantee proper data quality
2- Facilitate data migration efforts for your department, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
3- Oversee the preparation, cleansing, and validation of data to be migrated.
- Testing and Validation: Coordinate and actively participate in all testing stages, including functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or extensive application usage.
- Deep understanding of SAP accounting and finance processes
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Accounting and Finance
