Revit Expert - Architect
Position Summary:
The Revit Expert - Architect is responsible for developing and executing architectural designs with a strong focus on Revit-based documentation, project visualization, and technical coordination. This role involves creating precise and comprehensive project drawings and models, optimizing project workflows, and ensuring that all designs align with client requirements, industry standards, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Development:
Create innovative and functional design concepts that enhance the usability and aesthetics of spaces.
Use Revit to produce 3D models, sketches, and 2D drawings to develop and present design concepts for client review.
Project Documentation and Modeling:
Develop detailed architectural layouts, sections, elevations, and construction drawings with Revit.
Ensure high-quality, accurate Revit models and drawings that meet project specifications and comply with building codes.
Material and Finish Selection:
Select suitable materials, colors, finishes, and fixtures in line with design concepts.
Prepare material boards and technical specifications for selected architectural finishes.
Revit Optimization and Workflow Management:
Optimize project workflows and templates within Revit to increase efficiency and maintain project consistency.
Manage Revit families, templates, and project standards to support project requirements.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure Revit models are fully integrated with other design and engineering disciplines.
Coordinate closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure the design intent is implemented accurately.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all designs are compliant with safety regulations, building codes, and standards.
Integrate compliance measures into Revit models and documentations.
Client Engagement:
Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.
Use Revit models and visual presentations to effectively communicate design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
Communication and Presentation:
Prepare compelling visual presentations, renderings, and mood boards using Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
Communicate project progress, design updates, and technical details clearly to clients and team members.
Technical Support and Revit Expertise:
Provide technical support and guidance on Revit best practices to junior team members.
Troubleshoot Revit-related issues and provide solutions to optimize project performance.
Project Execution:
Oversee project milestones and ensure that design and construction align with Revit models and drawings.
Address on-site issues as they arise, ensuring that solutions are implemented promptly to maintain project timelines.
Critical Competencies:
Revit Proficiency:
Advanced knowledge of Revit with experience in creating and managing complex models, families, and templates.
Ability to use Revit to produce accurate, high-quality documentation and presentations.
Design and Visualization Skills:
Strong design skills to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing concepts.
Proficiency in visual presentation software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar tools.
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of architectural design principles, space planning, construction documentation, and building codes.
Ability to create precise technical drawings and specifications that meet industry standards.
Project Management and Execution:
Experience in managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the design and construction process.

Reporting Structure:
The Revit Expert - Architect reports to the Senior Architect, Project Manager, or Design Manager.
Education and Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
Experience: 7-9 years of experience in architectural design and project execution, with a strong emphasis on Revit-based documentation, design modeling, and technical coordination. Proficiency in Revit is essential
