Senior Interior Designer

Position Summary:

The Senior Interior Designer oversees and leads interior design projects, providing creative direction, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring the successful execution of interior design solutions that align with client needs, project requirements, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual design skills and significant experience in real estate and construction, bringing a comprehensive understanding of the industry's practical and aesthetic requirements.

Safety and Security:

Uphold safety protocols and procedures concerning interior design, ensuring designs comply with safety standards and regulations.
Integrate safety measures into interior design plans, materials, and installations.
Policies and Procedures:

Ensure adherence to company policies, design standards, and industry regulations within the domain of interior design.
Contribute to the development and enhancement of interior design protocols and methodologies.
Client Relations:

Act as the primary liaison with clients, understanding their vision, preferences, and requirements for interior spaces.
Translate client needs into innovative and feasible interior design solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and project success.
Communication:

Facilitate effective communication within the design team and with clients to convey design concepts, ideas, and project requirements clearly and persuasively.
Prepare comprehensive presentations, mood boards, and design proposals for client communication.
Assists Management:

Lead and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support in developing design concepts and execution strategies.
Assist in managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables related to interior design aspects.
Working with Others:

Collaborate seamlessly with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure harmonious integration of interior design elements within the overall project framework.
Foster a collaborative environment, promoting teamwork and coordination within the design team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:

Design Conceptualization & Development:

Lead the development of innovative and functional interior design concepts, considering spatial planning, aesthetics, materials, and finishes.
Create mood boards, sketches, renderings, and 3D models to illustrate design ideas and concepts effectively.
Space Planning & Layout Design:

Direct the planning and design of interior layouts, ensuring optimal utilization of space, flow, and functionality.
Oversee the creation of detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and elevations.
Material & Finish Selection:

Spearhead the selection of materials, colors, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment in alignment with the design concept and client objectives.
Prepare and present comprehensive material boards and specifications for interior finishes and furnishings.
Documentation & Drawing Production:

Supervise the creation of detailed drawings, renderings, and specifications using design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
Ensure accurate preparation of construction documents, including schedules and specifications for interior elements.
Project Coordination & Management:

Coordinate closely with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure accurate implementation of interior design plans.
Oversee the integration of interior elements with architectural designs, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout the construction process.
