Job Description

Job Summary-

We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your goal will be to ensure that these systems operate efficiently, effectively, and safely.

Job Responsibilities-

  • Install, repair, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections and perform necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems to identify the root cause of problems.
  • Repair or replace defective components and parts of HVAC systems, such as compressors, fans, motors, and thermostats.
  • Install and connect HVAC equipment, including air handling units, condensing units, evaporators, and ductwork.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure timely completion of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.
  • Follow safety protocols and procedures while working on HVAC systems to minimize risks and accidents.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers on the proper use and maintenance of HVAC systems.
  • Document all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and hours spent, for accurate record-keeping.

Candidate Requirements-

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience as an HVAC Technician, with expertise in installation, repair, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety guidelines.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve issues with HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and diagrams.
  • Proficient in using tools and equipment commonly used in HVAC installation and repair work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in uncomfortable positions or environments.
  • Valid HVAC technician certification or license is preferred.
