Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Officer is responsible for executing the supply chain practices in the market and the sourcing of units.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Inventory Management & Stock Planning:
- Update and Review Daily Inventory: Monitor and update the daily inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
- Issue Store-to-Store Transfers: Balance stock levels across stores by issuing transfers to maintain inventory optimization.
- Stock Maintenance per Supplier: Ensure that stock levels per supplier align with store requirements, achieving the desired stock-days ratio.
- Monitor Overstock & Take Corrective Actions: Track overstock in stores and implement corrective measures to prevent overstocking.
- Ensure Correct Stock Planning: Address issues such as out-of-stock, negative stock, and sleeping stock to maintain accurate inventory levels.
Promotions & Stock Availability:
- Follow-up on Promotion Cycles: Ensure stores are aligned with the promotional cycles and guidelines provided by the commercial team.
- Maintain Product Availability: Coordinate with stores to ensure products are available by managing low stock, out-of-stock (OOS), and overstock situations.
- Spot Checks: Conduct weekly spot checks in stores to assess stock availability on shelves and stock conditions in the backroom.
- Promotional Stock Orders: Follow up with suppliers on promotional stock, ensuring all orders are placed on time to meet promotional launch dates.
Supplier Coordination & Order Management:
- Review Pending Orders and Unreceived Items: Track and report pending orders and follow up with suppliers to reschedule delivery dates.
- Purchase Orders (Local Suppliers): Prepare purchase orders for local suppliers in line with the preset daily schedule and stock frequency guidelines.
- Return Orders to Suppliers: Issue return orders to suppliers for overstocks in stores.
- Analyze Stock Needs: Review current stock in the central warehouse and generate purchase orders to meet store requirements.
- Follow-up on Out-of-Stock Items: Monitor and follow up with suppliers on out-of-stock items and ensure timely deliveries.
Stock Performance & Sales Analysis:
- Sales Analysis & Repeated Orders: Review and analyze sales performance, generating repeated orders when necessary, especially during promotions.
- Negotiation with Suppliers: Engage with suppliers to identify income opportunities, such as negotiating Free of Charge (FOC) items or better pricing, and work toward achieving the end-of-month sales targets and incentive targets set by superiors.
Coordination with Commercial Team:
- Coordinate Prices and Promotions: Work closely with the commercial team to address pricing issues, promotional opportunities, and stock concerns with suppliers.
- Review and Address Stock Issues: Ensure that any stock issues related to pricing or promotions are addressed in coordination with the commercial team.


Qualifications:
- Between 1 and 2 years of experience in supply chain processes, including procurement, order processing, inventory management, and distribution
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any related field
