Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage all the daily operations by providing expertise, enabling teamwork, and aligning processes, in order to achieve best performance standards and meet targets.
• Supervise all accounting transactions: general ledgers, accounts receivables, account payables, depreciation, cost, property, and expenses to ensure proper accounting entries.
• Validate and update on system credit limit assigned to clients in coordination with collection specialist.
• Handle monthly and yearly closing accounting activities.
• Review monthly inventory reports, as well as annual inventory reports, to monitor the stock, correct any differences, and issue cost of items.
• Review monthly salaries (total amount) with the HR department, by verifying no errors in entries, advising of correct income tax, NSSF deductions, and family allowances to be paid, to ensure no errors occur in the payments of salaries and preserving the employees' rights.
• Prepare & analyze all financial reports and statements on timely basis: P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow, Inventories
• Coordinate with the financial controller the cash flow projections to determine the optimum use of funds relative to the business needs.
• Prepare budget in coordination with HOD and analyze figures on monthly basis.
• Coordinate with the financial controller the expenses vs. budget across all profit and cost centers and agree together on actions to be taken.
• Prepare and submit all the governmental taxes (NSSF, salaries taxes report, VAT...) to ensure that the company comply with the legal requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company’s finances & accounts are maintained.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting ,finance, or business
• CPA or MBA preferred
• 8 - 12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting role with 3 years in supervisory level
• Experience with Visual Dolphin is a plus
• Experience about taxation and social security systems
