Job Opportunity: Accountant/Shared Services Specialist – Beirut, Lebanon

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant/Shared Services Specialist to manage and oversee financial operations of our Client. This position is based in Beirut, Lebanon, and involves ensuring compliance with financial regulations, maintaining accurate records, and managing HR-related tasks.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing the financial operations of our client’s companies, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting strategic objectives for 2025 and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
  • Ensure monthly financial statements are accurate and submitted within strict deadlines.
  • Reconcile provisions and depreciation schedules, maintaining zero discrepancies.
  • Manage accounts receivable and payable in line with organizational KPIs.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Submit mandatory CNSS and MOF declarations ahead of deadlines to avoid penalties.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are balanced accurately.
  • Payroll and HR Integration:
  • Process payroll with precision and ensure all approvals are completed on time.
  • Handle HR-related tasks such as payroll deductions, employee compliance, and record management.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Respond to team inquiries promptly and resolve most requests within 48 hours.
  • Contribute to a high team satisfaction rate through efficient communication and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/Certification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in accounting or shared services.
  • Knowledge of HR processes and payroll systems is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in compliance, analytical accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; knowledge of French is a plus.
