JOB PURPOSE
The Waiter is responsible for supervising waiters, waitresses, and runners in designated sections, as well as serving customers to ensure their needs are met with high-quality service in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up and arrange table settings before and after each customer in accordance with the brand's established standards.
- Greet customers upon arrival, present the menu, assist in selecting items by demonstrating menu knowledge, take orders, and serve food promptly.
- Efficiently communicate with kitchen staff and baristas to ensure customer satisfaction, while collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operation of all activities.
- Ensure staff consistently provides friendly, professional, and timely service, promptly reporting any discrepancies or customer complaints to the manager on duty.
- Collect bill payments from customers and promptly deliver them to the cashier.
LANGUAGE & TECHNICAL SKILLS
Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.
EDUCATION
EXPERIENCE
- Zero to two years of experience in Customer Service, or a similar role.
