JOB PURPOSE
The Hostess is responsible for welcoming customers upon arrival and departure, ensuring they have an excellent dining experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take standard bookings and reservations, and arrange parties or special services for diners, informing the manager to coordinate necessary preparations.
- Greet arriving customers warmly and escort them to their tables, providing menus while they await service from the waiter or waitress.
- Assist in inspecting the serving stations in the dining area to ensure they are neat and clean.
- Direct and instruct waiters and waitresses on customer needs to ensure customers receive prompt and high-quality service upon arrival.
- Prepare the workstation, maintain an organized reservation book, and ensure menus are wiped down, free of spots or stains, and complete at all times. Manage and verify all delivery and takeaway orders, and direct drivers to wait until the orders are ready for pickup.

Language Proficiency
- Fluency in English.
- Fluency in Arabic is a plus.

EXPERIENCE
- Zero to one years of experience in a similar role.
