A Trade Marketing position focuses on the strategic marketing activities that bridge the gap between marketing and sales. It aims to enhance the relationship between a company and its retailers or distributors to maximize product sales at the point of purchase. The role is vital for ensuring that marketing strategies are effectively executed in retail environments to drive product visibility, availability, and consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Retail Strategy Development: Collaborating with sales teams to develop retail-focused strategies to increase product visibility and sales.
2. Promotions & Campaigns: Planning and executing in-store promotions, trade campaigns, and events to boost sales and brand awareness.
3. Point-of-Sale Materials: Designing and deploying point-of-sale (POS) materials such as displays, signage, and digital content.
4. Channel Management: Managing relationships with retailers and distributors, ensuring that products are adequately stocked and marketed.
5. Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analyzing sales data to track product performance, competitor activities, and consumer trends.
6. Product Launches: Coordinating product launches and ensuring successful execution of promotional strategies.
7. Budget Management: Managing trade marketing budgets and ensuring the effective allocation of resources across campaigns.
8. Collaboration with Sales Teams: Working closely with the sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and sales targets.
9. Merchandiser Management : Leading and managing merchandising team
