As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in the kitchen team, supporting senior chefs in delivering high-quality dishes that exceed guest expectations. You will assist in food preparation, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure efficient operations in the kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Ensure ingredients are prepared, measured, and organized for efficient cooking.
Contribute to creating visually appealing and flavorful dishes.
Kitchen Operations:

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times.
Follow instructions from senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Participate in mise en place preparation and other duties as assigned.
Quality Control:

Ensure the quality, taste, and presentation of dishes meet 5-star standards.
Handle food storage and preservation to maintain freshness and safety.
Follow portion control guidelines to minimize waste and ensure consistency.
Hygiene & Safety:

Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Properly clean and sanitize equipment and utensils after use.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to meet kitchen deadlines.
Provide support during busy service hours.
Contribute ideas for menu development and improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Culinary diploma or relevant training from a recognized institution.
At least 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a hotel or fine dining restaurant.
Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and a strong sense of teamwork.
