Cochlear Product Manager

We are seeking a highly dedicated Cochlear Product Manager in Beirut, Lebanon, to oversee the creation, development, and enhancement of cochlear and auditory products. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects related to cochlear implants and hearing solutions. A knowledgeable and strategic product manager will formulate and implement effective sales strategies aimed at maximizing the use and market penetration of cochlear products within healthcare institutions. Utilizing their deep understanding of hearing conditions and industry trends, the manager will drive growth in sales and market share while anticipating and effectively managing business opportunities and challenges.

The Cochlear Product Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders such as ENT specialists, audiologists, and clinic staff to ensure successful product management and sales. They will assess customer needs, present tailored solutions, liaise with doctors to promote product prescriptions, and conduct cost-benefit analyses to optimize product uptake.

In addition, a dedicated and persuasive professional in this role will keep informed about the latest developments in medical regulations to evaluate their potential impact on sales strategies and market dynamics.

An outstanding Cochlear Product Manager will demonstrate superior negotiation, customer service, and consultative sales skills, consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling meetings with potential and existing clients, including ENT specialists, audiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Presenting and promoting cochlear products to healthcare professionals, leveraging effective selling techniques to persuade them to adopt the products.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide valuable insights and market feedback on cochlear products.
  • Preparing detailed sales reports, analyzing market trends, and submitting timely purchase orders to relevant departments.
  • Assessing customer needs, recommending and presenting products that align with those needs, and driving product usage within healthcare settings.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand cochlear product sales, resolving customer complaints, and negotiating terms of sale effectively to secure deals.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients by providing exceptional after-sales service and ongoing support.
  • Building and nurturing professional connections with healthcare professionals in audiology, otolaryngology (ENT), hearing rehabilitation, and clinic staff within the assigned territory.
  • Organizing conferences and group events for medical professionals to increase product visibility.
  • Regularly attending industry events, training sessions, company meetings, and workshops to remain current with developments in the field of hearing solutions.
  • Conducting market research on competitors products, pricing strategies, and success rates.
  • Maintaining detailed activity logs on the companys CRM system for consistent tracking of sales performance and customer interactions.


Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required (advanced degree in Audiology, Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field preferred).
  • 4 to 5 years of proven experience in medical sales, with at least 2 years focused on cochlear implants or related hearing solutions.
  • Strong collaborative skills with the ability to work cross-functionally within a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and growing sales of specialty medical products, with a consistent record of high performance.
  • Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, legislation, and compliance standards related to ENT and hearing products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and consultative sales skills.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, excellent time management, and strategic negotiation skills.
  • Highly motivated, target-driven, and with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • In-depth understanding of the latest clinical data related to hearing conditions, cochlear implants, and ENT treatments.
  • Ability to problem-solve and perform well under pressure.
