Cash Van Sales Representative- Maten

Job Purpose:

The Cash Van Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and delivering products to customers in a designated route within an assigned region. This position involves actively engaging with customers, promoting products, and ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of FMCG goods (chips, cornflakes, etc.). The Cash Van Sales Representative will contribute to the achievement of sales targets while maintaining excellent customer relationships and ensuring the van is properly stocked and managed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive the cash van and deliver FMCG products (chips, cornflakes, and other related products) to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Actively sell and promote products to new and existing customers, ensuring the right products are available and delivered.
• Build strong relationships with retail customers by providing excellent customer service.
• Ensure all products are properly stocked in the van, checking inventory to match customer orders and demand.
• Visit assigned customers on a daily basis, ensuring their orders are fulfilled and stocked according to their preferences.
• Provide product knowledge and information about promotions to customers to drive sales.
• Address any customer concerns or issues in a professional manner, escalating to the supervisor when necessary.
• Handle cash transactions with customers, ensuring all payments are collected accurately.
• Prepare and submit daily sales reports, including information on sales volume, inventory, and cash collected.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including invoices, receipts, and delivery orders.
• Ensure the van is well-stocked with products based on sales forecasts and customer demand.
• Monitor stock levels and alert the supervisor to any shortages or overstock situations.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the van, ensuring all products are stored properly.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Collaborate with the supervisor to strategize on ways to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in any promotional activities or campaigns organized by the company.
• Report any issues related to product quality, customer complaints, or van operations to the Cash Van Sales Supervisor.
• Provide feedback on competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences
