Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance and Repairs:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems.
Installation and Upgrades:
Install and commission new electrical systems, wiring, and equipment as per company and client requirements.
Upgrade outdated systems to improve energy efficiency and meet modern standards.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all electrical work adheres to local electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols.
Conduct risk assessments and implement necessary safety precautions during repairs and installations.
Energy Management:
Identify opportunities to optimize energy usage and recommend cost-saving solutions.
Support energy conservation initiatives in facilities.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, repair logs, and material usage.
Report any potential hazards, system malfunctions, or client concerns to the supervisor.
Client Interaction:
Address client requests and concerns professionally and promptly.
Guide the safe use of electrical systems and equipment when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance and repairs, preferably in facilities management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Hands-on experience with electrical tools, testing devices, and equipment.
Knowledge: Familiarity with local electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Requirements:
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call for emergencies.
Physical stamina to perform tasks requiring climbing, lifting, and prolonged standing.
Valid electrician’s license or certification.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, generators, and BMS (Building Management Systems) is a plus
