Job Objective
Your role as Technical Procurement Engineer is to ensure timely responses to IT and Telecom needs by negotiating offers, evaluating suppliers, and managing procurement processes to achieve the best price and quality.
Main Tasks
- Ensure timely responses to all IT and Telecom procurement needs by negotiating offers with suppliers.
- Validate technical and commercial aspects of all requests, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Prepare, review, and validate RFQs, ensuring a clear understanding of technical scope.
- Benchmark suppliers and pricing to secure the best value for the company.
- Introduce and onboard new suppliers, ensuring proper documentation for portfolio creation.
- Follow up with suppliers and Finance to ensure timely delivery and proper documentation of POs.
- Generate monthly performance reviews and reports, focusing on procurement metrics and savings.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer and communication engineering, supply chain management, or a related field.
Experience
3+ years of experience in procurement, ideally within IT and Telecom sectors.
Required Language
Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
Skills Requirements
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to analyze technical and commercial data.
- Familiarity with RFQ processes, supplier management, and cost benchmarking.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication.
