About the Role:
A leading tourism company is seeking a sales Director to develop and execute sales and marketing strategy, manage client relationships, and expand business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tourism sales, international client management, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement a continuous sales and marketing plan to drive business growth.
Client Management & Acquisition: Maintain relationships with existing clients and recruit new ones (Groups, FIT, and OTAs).
Product Alignment: Align tourism products per market segment and sales targets.
Market Expansion & Travel: Expand business opportunities in local and international markets, with the ability to travel as needed.
International & Local Market Expertise: Utilize strong knowledge of international clients and local tourism trends to optimize sales efforts.
Regional Experience Advantage: Experience in UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Oman is a plus.
Qualification:
10-15+ years of experience in tourism sales and business development.
Proven ability to manage clients by segment (Groups, FIT, OTAs, B2B/B2C).
Strong knowledge of the local and international tourism market.
Ability to travel and attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings.
Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
