Sales Representative - Alcohol Specialist

Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for selling the company's products or services to potential and existing customers. This role involves identifying leads, engaging with prospects, closing sales, and maintaining strong customer relationships to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Generation:

o Identify and target potential customers through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities.
o Present, promote, and sell products or services to prospective and existing customers.
o Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

2. Customer Relationship Management:

o Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
o Understand customer needs and tailor sales presentations to address them.
o Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues that arise.

3. Sales Strategy and Execution:

o Meet or exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.
o Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share and customer base.
o Keep up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.

4. Sales Reporting:

o Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
o Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management, including sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
o Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

5. Negotiation and Closing:

o Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with customers to close deals.
o Handle objections and provide solutions to potential issues that may arise during the sales process.
o Follow up with customers after closing sales to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.

6. Product Knowledge:

o Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products or services.
o Stay informed about new products, features, and industry developments.
o Educate customers about product benefits, features, and usage.

7. Collaboration:

o Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, customer service, and product development, to ensure alignment in achieving sales goals.
o Participate in team meetings and share best practices with colleagues.

8. Market and Competitor Analysis:

o Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth.
o Monitor competitors’ activities and provide insights on competitive positioning.
o Adjust sales strategies based on market trends and customer feedback.
