Job Overview:
As a Sales Representative in the FMCG industry, you will be responsible for delivering products, collecting payments, and driving sales within designated routes. Your role will focus on promoting and selling tobacco products directly to customers, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales & Delivery:
o Drive a cash van along a set route to deliver tobacco products to retail stores, wholesalers, and other customers.
o Maintain accurate inventory of products on the van and ensure proper stock management during deliveries.
o Promote and sell products to new and existing customers.
o Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Customer Service:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business.
o Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
o Ensure all clients are satisfied with products and services offered.
• Cash Handling & Collection:
o Collect cash payments or process credit transactions for delivered goods.
o Ensure all payments are accurately recorded and securely handled.
o Balance cash, sales, and inventory at the end of each day.
• Reporting & Administration:
o Submit daily sales and delivery reports to the Sales Manager.
o Record any discrepancies in product deliveries or payments and report to the appropriate departments.
o Ensure that all required documentation (invoices, receipts, etc.) is properly completed and filed.
• Product Knowledge & Promotion:
o Stay up-to-date on the company's product offerings and promotions.
o Provide customers with information about new products or special offers to increase sales.

• Route Optimization & Maintenance:
o Plan daily routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries and sales.
o Ensure the van is clean, well-maintained, and meets safety standards.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales, marketing, or logistics are a plus.
• Proven experience in FMCG sales or a similar cash van role is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable handling cash transactions and ensuring accuracy.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Basic computer skills (knowledge of sales apps, Microsoft Office, etc.)
