Job Summary:
Sleep Comfort is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and finance, with strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting standards and tax regulations. This role involves handling financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure timely closing of monthly and yearly financials.
Monitor and control company expenses, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with Lebanese tax laws, including VAT, NSSF, and income tax declarations.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting.
Use accounting software to manage financial records and transactions efficiently.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing or retail industry.
Strong knowledge of Lebanese accounting principles, tax laws, and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
