Job Summary:
Allo Transport is looking for a Logistics & Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and optimize the delivery operations, warehouse organization, and driver coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient route planning, maintain accurate inventory, handle cash transactions, and manage time effectively to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and assign efficient delivery routes based on location, traffic, and deadlines.
• Monitor real-time delivery progress and make necessary adjustments to avoid delays.
• Act as the primary point of contact for drivers, providing clear instructions and updates.
• Ensure drivers comply with company policies, safety regulations, and schedules.
• Address driver-related concerns, delays, or operational issues proactively.
• Maintain a well-organized warehouse, ensuring proper storage and easy accessibility of goods.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods when needed, ensuring proper handling and care.
• Perform inventory tracking, stock counting, and reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
• Verify and record payments collected by drivers for delivery orders.
• Maintain a daily cash collection log, ensuring all collected amounts match delivery records.
• Monitor and report any payment discrepancies for resolution.
• Ensure timely completion of deliveries and pickups according to schedules.
• Maintain detailed records and reports related to deliveries, inventory, and financial transactions.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background.
• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehouse operations, delivery coordination, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lift and move goods when required
