Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager establishes and oversees social media conduct policies for Annahar journalists, subject to approval by the Super Desk. In coordination with the Super Desk, they regularly update these policies and ensure they are easily accessible to staff.
With a deep understanding of the target audience, the Social Media Manager ensures that content is effectively promoted—timing it appropriately, tailoring it to the right audience, and selecting the appropriate language.
Additionally, they assign tasks to the team to drive user engagement and manage discussions and comments.
Key Responsibillities:
• Develop and implement a social media strategy to boost brand awareness and engagement.
• Create, curate, and manage content across multiple platforms.
• Track key metrics, analyze performance, and generate reports.
• Engage with the audience, respond to comments, and manage brand reputation.
• Collaborate with the newsroom to transform content into compelling social media stories.
• Monitor trends, detect emerging topics, and share insights with the team.
• Train journalists on social media best practices and audience engagement.
