We are seeking a customer-oriented NOC Engineer to monitor, maintain, and support the performance of our IoT and Smart Automation solutions. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and availability of our networked devices and automation systems while delivering excellent customer support and service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Network and System Monitoring: Utilize NOC tools and dashboards to monitor the health, performance, and availability of IoT devices and communication networks.
• Incident Response: Detect, analyze, and troubleshoot system anomalies, outages, and performance issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Customer Support & Ticket Handling: Manage customer complaints and technical support requests via email, phone calls, or ticketing systems, ensuring timely response and resolution.
• Customer-Oriented Approach: Proactively communicate with customers, providing clear updates on issue resolution, troubleshooting steps, and service improvements.
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate recurring issues, escalate critical failures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement long-term solutions.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain logs, incident reports, and performance metrics for internal tracking and process improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the IoT development, network operations, and customer support teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of smart automation solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in NOC operations, IoT, or automation environments.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networks.
• Basic electrical know-how, including understanding of power systems, circuits, and wiring fundamentals, particularly in the context of IoT and automation solutions.
• Strong customer service mindset, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly and professionally to both technical and non-technical customers.
• Basic knowledge of Linux administration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills (an Advantage, but Not Mandatory):
• Hands-on experience with IoT platforms.
• Understanding of industrial automation systems (PLC, SCADA, BMS integration, etc.).
• Familiarity with IoT communication protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, Modbus, and BACnet, with a willingness to learn and work with these technologies in a real-world environment
