A design office located in Dekwaneh is looking for a designer to develop a diversity of projects in architectural and furniture projects.

Performance Responsibilities (not limited to)
1. Produce a preliminary studies (sketching initial design ideas) for projects and for which a design request was received
2. Communicate design ideas through sketches, 3D models and technical drawings.
3. Make presentations
4. Be able to hand fabricate mock ups to resolve design issues and finishes details
5. Work and collaborate with the team and also craftsmen as well as on site workers
6. Produce and develop detailed execution drawings and specifications based on site survey or design constraints
7. Resolve problems and issues that arise during the execution drawing process by presenting practical solutions and applying adequate modifications in coordination with team as well as sub-contractors during the development of projects;
8. Develop shop drawings (for factory and hand in the detailed study (which include measurements, elements and directives)
9. Assist the production team during the execution process in terms of design quality to ensure that works are carried out according to specific standards of drawing commands / conception etc.;
10. Coordinate multiple, long and short-term projects simultaneously and ensure a continuous follow – up to make sure that designs match the whole project concept;
11. Communicate all requests and details to contractors and subcontractors and assist on the execution when required;
12. Visit construction sites to get familiar with the general aspect of site installation.

Qualifications & Background
Experience required: minimum 2 years experience
Education Required: University graduate in architecture or Interior design
Certificate & Training: Any training related to design techniques / tools is a major plus
