Stock Keeper

1) Obligatory Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1-year experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
• Proficient with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Very attentive to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
• Personality skills such as organization, dynamism, intrinsically motivation and fast learning are a must.
• Able to solve urgent cases even during the weekends.
• Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials.
• Available to start in the shortest delay.
• Access to your own vehicle, valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work independently and without constant supervision.
• Read & Speak English well.


2) Preferred Requirements:

• Accounting degree/experience.
• Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.

3) JOB DESCRIPTION

- First weeks:
o Shadow the current stock keeper to learn about all the product - Training.
o Learn about the accounting procedures such as: How to issue stock Card, Mouvement of stock, read invoices, packing list etc…
o Make a full inventory of the stock
o Classify all items according to shelves, number the shelf for better organization and issue a stock card for each item.

- Daily Job Duty
o Make the inventory of all the stock every semester (it can also be done randomly).
o Receive merchandize and count it physically and electronically to ensure all items from supplier packing list have well been received.
o Inspect the quality of the received products looking for damaged or wrong items and report discrepancies to the Management.
o Classify and store items in the warehouse daily as per the company’s procedure to ensure timely finding and release of orders, and that the items are stored in good condition.
o Prepare stock card, movement of stock and items to be registered.
o Prepare client order based on client’s purchased order and make sure no mistake was made.
o Give the order to person responsible to deliver it and make sure the appropriate procedure with signature is followed.
o Inform the Executive Assistant and Chief Accountant if any mistake has been made.
o Organize general transfers between warehouse and appropriately report it.
o Inform Management and Executive assistant if any items have a low expiry or if items are low in stock – via email.
o Undertake any other duties the Management, or chief accountant deem important.

- Other Tasks:
o Follow up delivery order with Executive assistant every month to finalize and booking on system
o Help Chief accountant with booking the receipts.
o Sometimes can be required to work on Saturday’s
