• Design electrical systems for residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports using CAD or electrical design software.
• Conduct load calculations, power distribution planning, and lighting layouts.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on site.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors throughout project phases.
• Perform risk assessments and troubleshooting on electrical systems.
• Monitor progress and resolve any technical issues or delays related to electrical components.
• Review and approve material submittals and shop drawings.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and propose improvements or energy-saving solutions.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical design or site engineering, preferably in construction.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
