Job Summary:
In this role, you will assist in managing and curating content for our social media platforms, ensuring engaging and on-brand messaging that resonates with our audience. You will work closely with the social media team to develop compelling posts, monitor social trends, and contribute to growing our online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in managing and scheduling content across various social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
• Create, edit, and publish engaging posts, stories, and videos to enhance brand presence.
• Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and emerging content formats.
• Interact with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
• Support the team in developing social media strategies to increase engagement and reach.
• Analyze social media insights and prepare basic performance reports.
• Collaborate with designers, writers, and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, & Communication
• 0 to 1 year of experience in social media management or online community management
• Familiarity in social media and design tools (Canva and Adobe Photoshop)
• Basic knowledge of social media analytics and content creation
• Basic knowledge in citizen journalism
