Job Summary:
The IT Officer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of internal office IT services and systems at the office. This includes managing IT infrastructure, providing technical support to office staff, troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, maintaining network security, and ensuring all office equipment and systems are functioning optimally. The officer will work closely with the IT Manager to ensure that all internal systems and services support the operational needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
 Ensure the smooth operation of office IT services, including internal servers, workstations, network equipment, and communication tools.
 Provide technical support for office systems, including troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software issues for employees.
 Install, configure, and maintain office software and hardware to meet business needs.
 Perform regular maintenance and upgrades of office IT equipment and systems.
 Monitor office network performance, security, and reliability, ensuring all systems are secure and compliant with internal IT policies.
 Implement IT solutions to optimize internal processes and improve overall office efficiency.
 Collaborate with the IT Manager to plan and execute internal IT projects (e.g., system upgrades, new hardware/software installations).
 Ensure regular backups of office data and assist in data recovery processes when needed.
 Provide training to office staff on the effective use of IT tools, software, and best practices.
 Maintain an inventory of office IT assets (computers, peripherals, software licenses, etc.).
 Conduct periodic assessments of office IT systems and suggest improvements to meet evolving needs.
 Support the implementation of office-wide software tools and systems (e.g., ERP systems, office management tools).
 Ensure compliance with office data security policies and industry standards.
 Generate regular reports on the status of IT systems, identifying potential risks or areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in IT support or IT infrastructure management in an office environment.
• Hands-on experience with managing office hardware, software, and network systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly resolve IT-related issues.
• Proficiency in common office software and systems (e.g., Microsoft Office, cloud-based tools, office network management).
• Knowledge of network security practices and data protection protocols.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills to work with both technical and non-technical staff.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Familiarity with cloud-based systems and IT tools for office management is a plus
