We are looking for a Stock Keeper to join our team!
You will be responsible of ensuring that products are readily available, and the inventory is well-maintained to support the smooth operations of the business.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock accurately.
• Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder requests to prevent stock outs.
• Ensure timely replenishment of products to meet demand.
• Maintain accurate records of stock transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and returns.
• Utilize inventory management systems to track stock levels.
• Conduct regular stock audits to identify discrepancies and address issues promptly.
• Monitor product quality and report any concerns to the relevant departments.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding stock orders, deliveries, and discrepancies.
• Ensure that products received match the provided specifications.
• Arrange stock in an organized and accessible manner for efficient retrieval.
• Implement a first-in, first-out (FIFO) system to manage product expiration dates.
• Generate and present regular reports on stock levels, movements, and discrepancies.
• Provide insights to management on inventory trends and recommendations.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to optimize stock levels and meet operational needs.
• Work closely with the logistics team to facilitate the movement of goods.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a warehouse or retail setting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving stock as needed.
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures related to stock handling
