Job purpose summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Assistant to support the General Manager in managing day-to-day operational activities across multiple countries within our F&B manufacturing division. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth coordination between regional teams, maintaining process efficiency, and supporting the GM in executing strategic and operational goals.
Required skills & qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Food Technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in an operational or executive support role, preferably in the F&B or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, or regulatory environments in the F&B sector is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, ERP systems).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural, and multi-country environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
Duties & responsibilities:
• Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the General Manager.
• Assist with coordination of regional operations across multiple countries, including production planning, logistics, supply chain, and compliance activities.
• Monitor KPIs, compile operational reports, and help prepare presentations and business reviews.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, QA/QC, supply chain, finance, HR) to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Support project management tasks including process improvement initiatives, system implementations, and regional rollouts.
• Coordinate travel, meetings, and communications for the GM, including international engagements.
• Assist in budget tracking, procurement processes, and vendor management as directed.
• Help ensure regulatory and operational compliance across country operations in alignment with F&B manufacturing standards.
• Maintain confidential records, organize documentation, and manage shared systems and files.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the GM.
