The Mechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. This role ensures optimal performance, safety, and reliability of machinery across operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance on mechanical equipment, machines, and tools.

Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc.

Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery or mechanical systems.

Follow technical drawings, manuals, and safety procedures during maintenance and repair work.

Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.

Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex mechanical issues.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

Technical diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in a mechanical maintenance or technician role (more for senior roles).

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.

Good problem-solving and hands-on skills
