Cashier needed for a very well known restaurant in Jounieh Area,

Main Responsibilities

• Check the cashier station and make sure that the area is clean and in order.
• Ensure that the POS system, CCM machine, telephone and equipments are functioning properly.
• Count cash drawer at the beginning of the shift to ensure that amount is correct and there is adequate change.
• Record customer orders into the POS System, ensuring each and every request is fully and accurately entered.
• Collect payments by cash, check, or credit cards, and give change to guest accurately.
• Process voids, discounts, etc. on POS System upon Management approval.
• Receive courier and inform the person who received the courier within maximum 24 hours.
• Count the money at the end of the shift and reconcile with the sales data.
• Send end of sales cash to the Head Office on a daily basis.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Always inform Floor Manager/Ass. Floor Manager when leaving the station during working hours.
• Maintain high personal appearance and hygiene standards (hair well kept, groomed and clean; face clean and shaved; uniform clean, ironed and well-maintained; deodorant and anti-prespirant should be worn daily)
