The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure efficient and safe operation. This role includes routine maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting while adhering to safety and quality standards to maintain a comfortable and compliant environment in all facilities.
Responsibilities and duties:
• Install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air handling units, condensers, evaporators, and ductwork, following industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently, minimizing downtime, and aligning with quality objectives.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot HVAC issues to determine root causes and execute appropriate solutions.
• Document all maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used, hours spent, and work details, ensuring accurate record-keeping for quality and traceability.
• Follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment.
• Identify and report major issues or potential safety hazards to the Technical Manager for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of HVAC components, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage
