Vision Servo is hiring on behalf of an International Manufacturing company in Angola, Luanda
- Job Supply Chain Manager
- Location: Luanda, Angola
- Experience in supply chain Management is mandatory
- Industry: Heavy & light house hold, including other mauufactoring product.
- English is a must, Portuguese is a plus

Responsibilities:

Manage, control and coordinate the Supply Chain department's activities ensuring that departmental objectives are met.
Key outputs to be achieved by the role:
Develop and manage the implementation of departmental plans in line with the functional strategy and ensure achievement of objectives
Produce stock demand forecasts and place orders on time to ensure no interruption in supply
Create shipping schedules and monitor progress to ensure smooth arrival and receiving of goods
Planning cycle:
Produce annual, quarterly and monthly stock forecast
Plan orders to address seasonal sales
Level of authority:
Take decisions in own areas of responsibility
Escalate matters outside of decision-making authority to the line manager
- Implement the tasks for Supply Chain Manager as mentioned in the authorization matrix sent by Webcor.
Major challenges:
- Balancing stock i.e. the right amount of stock in the warehouse at the right time. This is challenging due to the difficult economic climate.

Discuss budget and targets with the Finance department quarterly to determine availability of funds for ordering purposes. Direct Reports: 1 x Distribution Supervisor, 1 x Importation Supervisor, 1 x Purchasing Supervisor

- Working conditions: Normal office conditions. 5.5 day week. Occasional Saturday work

Travel: May need to travel on occasion

- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
Bachelor degree in Business
4 years’ experience in sales and /or supply chain having prepared stock analysis, demand forecasting and planning documents. An understanding of finance would be advantageous
Must speak English fluently with basic Portuguese - able to read and write

Technical Competencies Behavioral Competencies
MS Office basics - able to develop and maintain spreadsheets and generate reports
Management skills
Finance Course such as finance for non financial managers would be advantageous .
