Accounting & Finance Manager - Beirut

The Accounting & Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations while providing strategic insight to support the company’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement financial strategies to support company objectives and sustainable growth.

Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning in coordination with management.

Provide strategic recommendations to enhance profitability and optimize cash flow.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement across departments.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new projects or investments.

2. Accounting & Financial Operations

Supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.

Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

Manage bank reconciliations, payments, and treasury activities.

Maintain proper internal controls to safeguard company assets.

3. Cost Control & Analysis

Monitor company expenses and develop cost-control initiatives.

Conduct detailed cost analysis for operations, procurement, and projects.

Evaluate suppliers, contracts, and operational processes to identify potential savings.

Provide financial insights and reports to support decision-making.

4. Compliance & Audit

Ensure adherence to tax regulations and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.

Prepare and submit financial statements, tax declarations, and statutory reports.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial best practices.

5. Leadership & Coordination

Lead and develop the accounting and finance team, ensuring high performance and accuracy.

Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies with operational needs.

Provide management with data-driven insights and performance indicators.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial management.

Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control techniques.

Proven experience in developing financial strategies and business cases.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Proficiency in accounting software

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
