We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Writer to join our marketing team. You will be responsible for developing compelling, high-quality content that engages our target audience, drives traffic, and supports our overall marketing and business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of content strategy, SEO best practices, and the ability to adapt their writing style for various platforms and audiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Content Creation: Write, edit, proofread, and publish engaging content, including (but not limited to) blog posts, articles, website copy, landing pages, email newsletters, social media captions, case studies, and internal communications.
* SEO & Strategy: Research industry-related topics and keywords to develop content that is optimized for search engines and aligned with current marketing strategies.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, design team, product managers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure content is accurate, on-brand, and meets project deadlines.
* Brand Voice: Maintain and enforce a consistent brand voice, tone, and style across all communication channels.
* Content Calendar Management: Assist in planning, developing, and managing the editorial content calendar.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor content performance (e.g., traffic, engagement, conversions) and make data-driven recommendations for improvements and new content opportunities.
* Editing & Governance: Review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with company standards.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 2+ years of proven professional experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role.
* Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
* Strong portfolio showcasing a range of published work across different formats (e.g., long-form articles, web copy, emails).
* Demonstrable knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) principles and how to apply them to content creation.
* Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), such as WordPress, HubSpot, or similar.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in using content performance tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
* Experience in social media content development and community management.
