Registered Nurse

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at STMC provides high-quality patient care in accordance with the hospital’s clinical standards and policies. The RN plays a vital role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to promote patient recovery, safety, and comfort while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care based on physician orders and established nursing protocols.

Monitor, record, and report patients’ symptoms, vital signs, and responses to treatment.

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

Ensure accurate and timely documentation in patient records and the hospital information system.

Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, pharmacists, technicians, etc.) to deliver optimal care.

Maintain infection control standards and a safe, clean working environment.

Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions.

Support emergency response and resuscitation procedures when required.

Participate in continuous training and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Comply with Lebanese Ministry of Public Health regulations and STMC’s nursing policies and ethical standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Nursing (BSN or TS).

Registered with the Lebanese Order of Nurses.

Minimum 1–2 years of hospital experience (experience in [specific unit] preferred).

BLS certification (ACLS or PALS preferred for critical units).

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in Arabic and English; French is an asset.

Working Conditions

Rotating shifts (day/night).

12-hour shifts, 15 days/month.

Exposure to hospital environment and clinical procedures.
