Position Summary:
The Senior Structural Engineer is responsible for designing, analyzing, and assisting in the implementation of structural frameworks for building projects. This role ensures the strength, safety, and durability of structures in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Structural Engineer works closely with senior engineers, architects, contractors, and other disciplines to develop efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements and client expectations. Experience with real estate development companies, particularly in the execution of villas and residential projects, is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Structural Design and Analysis:
Assist in the structural design process for building projects, including calculations, modeling, and load analysis.
Develop safe and efficient structural solutions that comply with project specifications and standards.
Project Support and Coordination:
Support senior engineers in managing structural engineering aspects throughout project stages.
Prepare structural drawings, plans, and specifications under guidance, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Building Code and Compliance:
Ensure designs adhere to local and international building codes and safety regulations.
Assist in conducting risk assessments and integrating safety measures into designs.
Material Selection and Documentation:
Assist in selecting suitable materials for projects based on structural requirements and budget considerations.
Prepare material specifications and maintain accurate project documentation.
Site Supervision and Quality Assurance:
Conduct site visits under supervision to ensure construction work aligns with design specifications.
Support quality control checks and report discrepancies to senior engineers.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate structural systems into projects.
Communicate effectively with project managers to align timelines and deliverables.
Innovation and Sustainable Design:
Apply sustainable design principles and materials to enhance structural efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
Explore modern structural methods and technologies to improve building performance.
Critical Competencies:
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, load analysis, and construction materials. Familiarity with structural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAP2000).

Education and Experience:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in structural engineering with exposure to building projects. Experience with villas and real estate development companies is an advantage. Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with BIM tools are desirable
