The Claims Auditor is responsible for reviewing and auditing medical and billing records of submitted claims to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role involves identifying and reporting audit findings, as well as investigating potential cases of health insurance fraud, abuse, or waste. The auditor also examines hard copy bills to detect errors related to approval coverage, claim validation, medical and technical reviews, and invoice processing.
