A leading Jewelry company in Zouk Mikael is seeking a full time Jewelry Manufacturing Quality Coordinator for its Production department .
Job Role:
-Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain proper segregation of materials. Prepare kitted materials for production work orders
- Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
- Maintain Material Item Masters, Bills of Materials, Routings, Production Revisions, and other inputs for manufactured items.
- Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
- Perform daily quality assessments on all incoming materials from suppliers and outgoing products.
- Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure an effective coding system for every step of the production
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent/Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient in computer Microsoft Office applications and operational systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards
- Good knowledge about industry products and processes
- Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Able to complete multiple projects on time and with minimal supervision, which often serve several people and contain conflicting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Good understanding of basic math required for quick and accurate counting and calculations
