This is a full-time role for a Solar Maintenance Engineer located in Beirut. We are seeking a skilled, motivated and experienced individual to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems to ensure optimal performance. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems related to solar energy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance, and performance monitoring of solar PV systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues in solar installations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Troubleshoot system faults using diagnostic tools and software.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers and team members.
• Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track service requests and manage client interactions.
• Maintain strong communication with clients, providing updates on maintenance schedules, system performance, and any required repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV maintenance, installation, and engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, inverters, and solar energy systems.
• Knowledge for conducting energy studies (Typically Helioscope, PV Sys)
• Certification in solar PV installation and maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (Typically SLD)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments.
• Valid driver’s license
