The Runner supports the restaurant team by ensuring that food and beverages are delivered promptly, accurately, and in perfect condition to guests. This role acts as the vital link between the kitchen and the dining area, maintaining smooth service flow and contributing to an exceptional guest dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen or bar to guests efficiently and safely.

Ensure dishes are presented correctly and match the order before serving.

Assist waiters in setting up, clearing, and resetting tables during service.

Maintain cleanliness and organization in service stations, trays, and food pass areas.

Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service teams to coordinate timing and orders.

Support the service team during busy periods by refilling water, bringing condiments, or fulfilling guest requests.

Remove used dishes, glasses, and utensils promptly and discreetly.

Follow hygiene, safety, and grooming standards at all times.

Assist in end-of-shift duties, including cleaning, restocking, and preparing for the next service.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.

Strong sense of teamwork and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Physical stamina to walk, carry trays, and stand for long periods.
