The American University of Technology (AUT) invites applications for the position of Dean of the Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology (FAST) with an anticipated start date of February 2026.

Home to programs spanning computer sciences, artificial intelligence, data sciences, information technology, nutrition, and water resources, the Faculty plays a central role in advancing the University’s mission to develop solutions that address local and global challenges.

The Dean serves as a senior, dynamic and visionary leader to guide and promote the diverse disciplines within the Faculty, fostering a vibrant intellectual environment for students and faculty alike. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving excellence in teaching, research, and industry engagement.

• Position Summary:
The FAST Dean is the chief academic and administrative officer of the Faculty, reporting directly to the Provost. The Dean provides strategic leadership, oversees academic programs, manages faculty affairs, promotes research and scholarship, fosters interdisciplinary collaboration, and ensures effective operation of the Faculty in alignment with AUT’s mission and strategic goals.

• Qualifications:
- Candidates should hold a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Sciences, Applied Sciences and Technology, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Possesses a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, teaching excellence and academic leadership.
- A strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities brought by technological advancement.
