We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and taste. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other kitchen staff to create delicious pastries, bread, and desserts that delight our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of baking techniques and a commitment to using fresh, quality ingredients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare, mix, and bake various types of bread, pastries, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
  2. Ensure all baked goods are produced in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
  3. Monitor inventory levels of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure consistent production.
  4. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the baking area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  5. Experiment with new recipes and techniques to create innovative baked products that meet customer preferences.
  6. Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen staff on baking techniques and best practices.
  7. Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and promotional baked items.
  8. Conduct quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards before serving.
  9. Respond to customer feedback and adjust recipes or production methods as needed to enhance customer satisfaction.
  10. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with baking trends and techniques.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as a Baker, with a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 5 years in a professional kitchen or bakery environment.
  2. Strong understanding of baking techniques, including dough preparation, fermentation, and baking times.
  3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure, managing time effectively to meet production deadlines.
  4. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring consistency in product quality and presentation.
  5. Creative mindset with a passion for baking and a willingness to experiment with new flavors and techniques.
  6. Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively with team members and respond to customer needs.
  7. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
  8. Ability to adapt to changing demands and work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
  9. Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
