Restaurant Quality Control officer

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Restaurant Quality Control Officer to join our team in Beirut, Lebanon. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all food and beverage products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work closely with kitchen staff and management to implement quality control processes, ensuring compliance with health regulations and company policies. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for excellence in the culinary industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of food preparation areas and dining services to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  2. Monitor food quality and presentation, providing feedback to kitchen staff to enhance menu items.
  3. Develop and implement quality control procedures to maintain consistency in food and service quality.
  4. Collaborate with management to create training programs focused on quality standards for staff.
  5. Analyze customer feedback and complaints to identify areas for improvement in food quality and service.
  6. Maintain accurate records of quality control inspections, findings, and corrective actions taken.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to food safety and quality assurance.
  8. Assist in the development of new menu items by providing insights on quality and presentation.
  9. Ensure all staff adhere to hygiene and safety protocols during food preparation and service.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in quality control or food safety within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  2. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
  3. Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement solutions.
  6. Passion for food quality and customer satisfaction.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  9. Certifications in food safety or quality assurance are a plus.
