The Branch Manager is responsible for the smooth daily operation of Farouj Al Shams, ensuring excellent customer service, high food quality, cost control, and profitable performance. The manager leads the team, maintains hygiene standards, manages inventory, oversees delivery operations, and ensures brand consistency.

1. Operations Management
• Oversee daily restaurant operations (dine-in, takeaway, delivery).
• Ensure food preparation follows standard recipes and portion control.
• Monitor cooking times, temperature controls, and freshness of products.
• Handle customer complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Check order speed (target 6–10 minutes dine-in / 20–30 minutes delivery).

2. Staff Leadership & HR
• Manage scheduling for all staff (cashiers, cooks, delivery, cleaners).
• Train new staff on procedures, food safety, customer handling.
• Conduct weekly performance evaluations.
• Maintain discipline, grooming, uniform standards.
• Resolve staff conflicts and motivate team morale.

• Ensure all menu items meet company standards.
• Conduct hourly checks for:
• Chicken freshness
• Sauces prep
• Fries oil quality
• Shawarma rotation temperature
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, storage, fridges, and front area.
• Enforce HACCP/food safety standards.

• Perform daily inventory counts for chicken, fries, bread, sauces, beverages.
• Order supplies from approved suppliers before items run out.
• Track wastage and report daily.
• Monitor food cost %, labor %, and packaging usage.
• Prevent over-portioning and theft.

5. Financial & Reporting
• Daily reconciliation of Z-report and online delivery apps.
• Register promotions and discounts properly.
• Prepare daily/weekly sales reports.
• Maintain profitability and reduce unnecessary expenses.

• Ensure fast service, clean dining area, friendly staff.
• Handle VIP and repeat customers.
• Maintain customer satisfaction across delivery apps.
• Reply to WhatsApp and phone orders politely and quickly.

• Track delivery times and ensure no delays.
• Check rider readiness (bags, branding, cleanliness).
• Coordinate with apps: Toters, Talabat, etc.
• Resolve app issues (missing items, refunds, order delays).

• Ensure equipment works (fridges, fryers, shawarma machines).
• Call maintenance immediately when needed.
• Ensure fire extinguishers are updated.
