Logistics Supervisor

This role involves ensuring an overall sustainable supply chain readiness and securing all factory operation needs.


Main Responsibilities:


1- Lead, empower and develop all team personnel to handle multifunctional duties in compliance with quality & safety standards.

2- Continuously perform daily inspection and on-floor patrol for warehouses, main reception yard and machine areas.

3- Take responsibility for all CIL and 5S organization work within the designated areas.

4-  Properly assess and train all the team working lines for increased output performance.

5-  Practice an efficient time management and job distribution within the team.

6- Maintain and improve all the designated machine's condition by proper reporting to the maintenance of any breakdown and thru rigorous follow-up on repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.

7-  Carry out all necessary tasks & procedures of material reception & supply, and storage while maintaining proper documentation and inventory.

8-  Register, track, control and follow all bales production and delivery, waste and shredding operation.

9-  Lead the proper implementation of good work behavior related to production quality, clean factory and safe machinery work and fire risk awareness.

10- Practice and apply good warehousing area management under FIFO concept, in addition to dynamic planning that enables to accommodate the maximum storage capacity.

11- Proactively foresee and contribute to continuous work improvement.


Skills

  • Bachelor degree in Logistics, supply chain management or business management. A technical degree with relevant experience & logistics certification
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in Logistics, warehousing, or a related field with supervisory experience.
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
  • Physical ability to work in industrial environment.
  • Ability to work during nights and weekend when needed.
  • Well Developed planning skills and proactive approach
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving aptitude with attention to detail.
  • Languages: Arabic, English, French is a plus
  • Microsoft Office: mainly Excel
