We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of experience to join our dynamic construction team in Beirut, Lebanon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing mechanical tenders, design and materials selection on dedicated projects from conception through to completion, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing),pricing methodologies, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The candidate will be responsible of mechanical shop drawings issuing and supervision with a team of draftsman working hand in hand.

Key Responsibilities

• Review MEP design drawings
• Review and analyze tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and scope of
• work.
• Prepare design computations and develops probable cost estimates for the project
• Prepare mechanical (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting) shop drawings with a team of draftsman.
• Examine MEP specifications
• Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope by following standardized practice
• Perform quantity take-off from drawings and prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
• Prepare inquiry packages with complete technical details, quantities, and drawings.
• Review vendor drawings and material submittals for compliance with project design.
• Issue inquiries to suppliers and vendors, managing all technical and commercial clarifications.
• Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of quotations and prepare comparison sheets.

Skills

• Standard Project Management procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, AutoCAD/Revit and the ability to interpret 2D & 3D schematic drawings.
• 6 years post graduation experience in the field of construction.
